The 9 mm inflate valve is  the most common valve used on kites. In early years the 9mm valve was used one leading edges for both inflation and deflation. Most late model kites have a dedicated deflate valve in addition to this valve.

We're not sure why this valve is referred to as an 11mm valve when there isn't a measurement on it that's 11mm, but who cares, everyone knows it as the 11mm valve. This is the most common deflate valve around. Do not use this valve as the only inflate valve on a bladder because you can only close the plug when the kite is deflated.

This is the orange 11 mm dump valve to be used only when constructing orange bladders.  This valve is most commonly used as a deflate valve.

This valve is used for one pump systems such as North, Slingshot, Cabrinha, Royal, Eclipse, RRD or any other one pump kite systems.
