The 2024 model brings us another step forward with the introduction of a long carbon front handle allowing one-handed riding, an angled strut, which increases the riding comfort and with tweaks on the outline, twist and canopy tension further improving the Units power delivery and drift stability.

Designer Ken Winner optimized the angles of the strut in the handle area, resulting in a more natural riding position with the back arm being straighter and not constantly pulled in, which is especially noticeable when riding toe side.

The second great improvement to the handling is the introduction of a significantly longer carbon front handle, allowing the rider to bring the front hand further back and fly the wing one-handed for minutes. Light wind Wing Foiling had previously required advanced pumping techniques, but the Ventis transforms marginal conditions with active lift that pulls you up and on Foil without the need for excessive pumping. The two side struts retain the rigid frame and wings profile to allow for a reduction of the wing tips, meaning you are now less prone to catch or drag the wing tip when starting or pumping to get on foil. Sizes of 7m and 8m become manageable with this effective tip reduction even for smaller or less experienced riders. The side struts not only enhance handling, they also allow to keep the profile of the canopy all the way towards the tips. This increases lift and power through the entire surface of the wing while still maintaining good canopy tension, flying stability and depower. Efficiency and performance are at the forefront of the Ventis design, which is why we've incorporated our lightweight 50g ripstop canopy material with focus on thread orientation in each panel, keeping the large canopy area of the wing as light as possible while delivering direct response and performance. ShiftLock - ShiftLock is a re-invention of the Bolt Rope system used in sailing - the most common and robust method to fix a sail to a mast. We?ve adapted this method for wing-foiling, using a double bolt-rope track. To prove the system?s strength and durability, we?ve carried out cyclic load and on-water testing for two years without failure or excessive wear. ShiftLock has a breaking load of well over 710kg. We?ve also kept the system light in weight. Two 500mm ShiftLock Carbon handles (with the track) are lighter than two standard 500mm wing handles. The rigid Carbon ShiftLock handles (sold separately) react instantly to your input, while the soft TPU handle ends help protect you and your board. We've engineered Mode, our high-speed performance wing, with high tensile strength N-Weave 45 X-ply reinforced woven fibre airframe and Matrix N-HTRS canopy for the most efficient power delivery on the market. Developing these new material technologies has allowed us to create a stiffer, lighter and more durable wing without geometric compromise (and without the high-performance price tag). N-Weave 45 reduces structural deflection and transfers wind energy into greater forward speed, explosive boost and hangtime for freestyle tricks. We've specifically designed our new low-stretch, low-deflection Matrix N-HTRS high-tenacity canopy material to manage the added tension of the N-Weave 45 airframe, further increasing the wind range, and holding its shape in all conditions. With the ever expanding popularity of wing foiling, we?re expanding the range to include an additional color scheme, in our classic Alana theme.

This limited range of boards is perfectly suited for wing surfing, or to be used as a SUP foil board, SUP downwind foil board or prone foil surf. Changes to this updated model include a more overall rail curve in the outline, slightly narrower tails, increased nose rocker, and more pronounced bottom shaping and concave. Multiple foot strap insert positions, including wider stance options, give riders the opportunity to choose between a windsurfing style, double front strap setup, or a single surf style setup. The rocker is perfectly balanced so the board flies smoothly parallel to the water surface. Track boxes have been moved further back to better match with the multitude of different foils that riders may pair with the boards. The increased tail kick behind foil boxes combined with the beveled rail guarantees easy take odds and sufficient clearance in turns.

The carbon ultra layup, which now includes extra rail cap reinforcements and Kevlar patches when in high-stress areas gives these boards the lightweight edge minimizing swing weight and enhancing overall performance.

Introducing the newest board to the foil lineup, the Hover Wing Foil LE ultra compact wing foil board. 15% shorter than our original Hover Wing Foil boards, the compressed volume distribution is focused in the main stance area, allowing for easy starts. This compact board does require a bit more skill to get going on the foil and to remain stable. The compact design dramatically decreases swing weight, feeling like you are riding directly on the foil. It's two-stage rocker makes it easy to get on the foil, while providing a balanced feel when on the foil with ample nose lift. Sonar Stabilizer Shim Kit

The rear Stabilizers' main role is to maintain a level and stable flight path. But conditions and user preference may change what stabilizer angle feels the best (aka the sweet spot). Shimming changes the angle of attack (AOA) and controls the amount of downforce the stabilizer creates on the overall foil system - to increase the stabilizer AOA and front foot pressure, add positive shim. The smallest tweak in the AOA can improve comfort, reduce fatigue, change the cadence of your pump or the turning radius of your carve and increase/decrease your front and rear foot pressure without changing your foot position. With the Sonar Shim Kit you can stack multiple shims, from our base setting it covers from -0.5 to +2.5 degrees. Finetune the way your foil system performs and change the way you ride. NSI - Freedom Wing Waist Leash

Wing Foil riding Freedom Waist Leash attaches front, back, sides, your choice!  Now with double thick scuba webbing for more comfort and less twist.
Freedom Waist Leash offers freedom and comfort. Features a neoprene padded belt that stays comfortable even during long sessions with additional reinforced webbing to resist twisting. Bungee leash utilizes a unique combination of  bungee, covered with tubular nylon webbing allowing for a shorter leash which can stretch to nearly double its length. Sliding loop attachment points accommodate regular or goofy foot riders. Left, right, front or back wing leash positions are possible with our multiple attachment points.
