Coming straight off the back of the Crave HL-Series kites? incredible success, it was a no-brainer that our wings would bypass a traditional, industry-standard Dacron build and instead utilize the innovative Hybrid Light system.

Strategically placed ALUULA composite materials are blended with Dacron to create this new hybrid construction class that delivers an impressive decrease in weight with improved airframe response. ALUULA has been inserted into key overlays and reinforcements throughout the wing, while the strut is composed entirely from ALUULA composite material. The full ALUULA strut reduces airframe flex while keeping the centre of gravity forward, resulting in superior handling.

Every Ocean Rodeo Glide wing is fitted with our interchangeable Matrix handle system. Wings come with the Matrix handles pre-installed, yet allow the rider to customize handles and positions at their preference. 

Duotone Slick SLS Foil Wing - Freeride / Freestyle & Jumps / Wave & Downwind

The new generation of Slick wings combine the Strong / Light / Superior (SLS) technology with a multitude of design and performance upgrades. For 2022, the Slick SLS has been completely re-designed with a new outline. This sees improvements to the luffing stability while surfing waves and during downwinders and adds power and hang time for jumps. The Slick SLS is great for rotational moves and has been engineered to give enough clearance to reduce the dragging of the wingtips. A new window layout reduces weight while maintaining visibility to any blind spots. The tips and strut twist have been tuned to maximize the lift and stability with a tight canopy tension and a clean profile making it easy and stable to ride one-handed even in gusty conditions. The mini boom is available in both Aluminium or Carbon options and is compatible with the first-generation Slick wings. For 2023 the Aluula leading edge and strut combine with our new MOD3 canopy and the result is mind blowing! The latest version of Aluula fabric offers unmatched weight, ride compliance and response, which results in a lighter wing with improved lift, drift, power and hang time. The instantaneous feedback from the Unit D/LAB allows you to fly earlier, jump higher and rotate quicker. The MOD3 Canopy channels the energy from the Aluula material into pure acceleration and sheer grunt! The higher modulus MOD3 fabric holds the shape of the wing with double the strength in the warp direction and 3 times the stretch resistance in the bias direction over a traditional canopy. Lower stretch significantly improves draft stability, power delivery and the pumping efficiency of the wing, which ultimately allows the use of smaller wings in lighter winds and the new Unit D/LAB sees an increased usable range. The new durable MOD3 remains crisp and fresh like its day one and in addition, significantly improves the tear resistance and canopy strength. Similar to the design refinements seen in the Original Unit for 2023, designer Ken Winner has optimized the dihedral angle, as well as the tip and strut twist for enhanced drift stability when surfing or flying through basic manoeuvres. The front handle has been reinforced for better stand-off and control when surfing with your wing flagged, while the window layout offers better visibility for improved safety allowing you to always see your surroundings. Our rigid handles have revolutionized wing design for their direct steering and power transfer allowing the rider quick adjustments through its grip range combined with pump-and-go simplicity while maintaining a lightweight minimal size that is easy to pack away at the end of a session. The Unit D/LAB excels in the surf but loves powerful riding, jumps and tricks at all levels. The new Unit will impress you from the first flight. Light, lifty and stable, yet incredibly easy to handle and control with our new rigid handles. The design goal of the new Unit was simple, we wanted to create a wing with a stable drift that can follow you effortlessly without pulling left, right, up or down when depowered on the wave. At the same time, we wanted a wing that created more lift for improved hang time in jumps and easier handling in maneuvers, all of this combined with a boom-like control and steering. The results will blow your mind, the unit has proven to be our best performing wing to date with unrivalled flying performance. The slightly wider span of the Unit offers great luffing stability when on the wave and significantly better hang time in the jumps. Yet the wingspan and dihedral still make it easy for less experienced riders, freeriding, cruising or rotational freestyle moves. Increased segments to the leading edge and panel layout of the Unit have allowed designer Ken Winner to finely optimize canopy tension and twist. The new window layout has led to weight savings without compromising comfort and safety. Simulations on airflow have helped the final tweaks and attention to detail, giving the Unit such a light feel in your hands with an incredible lift through jibes and tacks and instant response when you need it! Forget what you know about handle equipped wings, our new screwed-on rigid handle still covers pump-and-go simplicity but feels more responsive and direct than any handle wing you've touched. The SuperWing is the result of dozens of prototypes and was designed to provide the most stable and the most power per square meter possible.
The design's objectives focused on stability, power and forward drive, this was achieved thru a specific Arc shape for stability, a stiff frame for direct response and a wing that naturally flairs out in order to fly forward as soon as the wind flows thru.

The SuperWing will please aspiring wing riders as well as advanced riders looking to push their limits in jumps, waves, downwinds, freestyle or speed runs.

Light and strong, made with 12 K twill weave carbon, the Carbon Bar delivers additional stiffness to the inflatable strut. The ability to generate more power and better manage overpowered situations is enhanced. Riding with the Carbon Bar is the ultimate setup to get the most out of your Ocean Rodeo wing, allowing for aggressive riding and precision control. No more searching for grab handles during maneuvers! The generous oval tube diameter delivers exceptional torsional / lateral control during powered maneuvers. The adjustable back post makes swapping the bar between sizes quick and easy. The Carbon Bar comes complete with a padded bag that clips to the side of the wing bag.

Carbon-Matrix Wing Handle - 32cm (set of 2)
Built with compression molded carbon, these handles are both strong and lightweight. Featuring a 25mm diameter grip with non-slip finger ridges for extra control. Swapping a handle set between wing sizes is quick and easy with no screws, velcro or other attachment devices required. The Carbon handle set comes complete with a padded bag.
